BEST ILLINOIS FIREWORKS SHOW EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI 

Over the years, Mineral IL has gained a solid reputation as THE BEST FIREWORKS SHOW  it grows more and more each year! What can we say, our boys like to blow stuff up! 

We have a dedicated Fireworks Committee headed by the residents of this small village and is strictly run by volunteers with big hearts and is 100% donation based from everyone who comes out to see the show. 

In 2023, we implemented Mineral Fun Days which was a smashing success. We encourage you to come early as parking for the fireworks ends up going all the way up and down Route 6 highway so come into town early, bring your chairs or a blanket to spread out (we have plenty of grassy areas throughout our town), grab some food, play some games, cheer on our small town parade and have fun with the town festivities!

All of our food and drink purchases help fund the fireworks for the following year so come hungry and thirsty!  

There will also be port-a-potties in town by the concessions stands (Baseball Diamond Area) 

Please note: Baseball Diamond Area will be shut down in early evening to set up for the fireworks. There is a grass area adjacent to the Baseball Field, come early to get your spots selected as people will start placing their chairs and set up early.) The best place to view the Fireworks is in town and we’re dedicated to making sure you have enough stuff to do and plenty to eat and drink.
